Chronic SI pain is almost always the result of an underlying problem with the Piriformis Muscle or one of the other muscles of the Hip Rotator Cuff. For more information on this subject, please visit this website’s #1 page, PIRIFORMIS SYNDROME.
I had a serious pelvic injury 4years ago which led to sacroiliac dysfunction. I had 4 years of physio, massotherapy, acupuncture, osteo with no success.
My osteo suspects that I have alot of pelvic scar tissue, which he massages but the pain comes back once I try to resume activities.
I can not sit, stand bend or walk long distances.
Not sure what else to do.
MRI,CT SCAN is normal of spine and pelvis.
The massage is probably not intense enough or else the scar tissue is too deep. Although not exactly your situation, THIS POST should help provide some answers.
